Ballerina Tutu Sewing Pattern

This is a PDF sewing pattern that will take you step by step through the process of sewing a sweet ballerina leotard with pull-on tutu for a baby doll. Just download, print and sew and your doll with be ready to pirouette and dance the day away. Sewing Level: Intermediate Fabric Needed Leotard and Tutu waistband – 40cm (16 inches) x 35cm (14 inches) of four-way stretch fabric. Tutu – 80cm (31.5 inches) of at least 220cm (86 inches) wide soft tulle fabric. Or equivalent to cut 12 circles of approximately 35cm in diameter. Notions Leotard - Approximately 4cm (1 ½ inches) of 1cm (3/8th inch) wide sew-in Velcro. I used a snag-free Velcro to stop the hooks snagging the fabric. (I found this out from experience). Tutu – 22cm (8 ½ inches) of 6mm (1/4 inch) wide elastic.
